Reviews and Ratings
Staying in the Annex building was a real treat for my family since we already knew about it before booking. The promise of light housekeeping daily and a full clean on the fourth day was highly appreciated. The service at check-in was exceptionally professional, and the cheerful demeanor of the staff added a pleasant touch to our stay. However, some staff members in charge of maintaining the place seemed a bit rude, which was a downside.
Staying in the 2 bedroom 2 bath suite with mountain view had its challenges as the rooms were run down and poorly maintained, making it a struggle to get ready. However, the service was accommodating and helpful, moving us to a better room. The location, while close to downtown Canmore, showed signs of lack of maintenance, but still convenient. The dining experience in the hotel's restaurant was tasty and offered free breakfast. Overall, a mixed experience with some positives and negatives.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and had great amenities like 2 bathrooms, laundry facilities, a fireplace, balcony, and BBQ, but some aspects were disappointing such as a broken blind letting in light at night and old furniture that felt unclean. The service was mostly friendly and accommodating, although there was a negative encounter at the front desk. The location was convenient with various nearby amenities, but there were cleanliness issues in the pool area. Dining options were lacking in variety, but the overall stay was decent.
The hotel was conveniently located with easy access to everything, but the quality of rooms was disappointing due to poor drainage and lack of recycling bins. The service was friendly and helpful, but the temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm throughout the stay.
The hotel room was good, except the patio doors didn't lock, which made us feel a bit uneasy, luckily, we were not on the first floor. The room was kinda neat with a unique vaulted ceiling. However, it was covered in dust, and the ensuite shower and safe did not work. The hot tub was also filthy.
The hotel offers a great experience with in-suite laundry and BBQ facilities situated across from the hotel building. The rooms were comfortable, but there were issues with the patio doors not locking, which was a bit concerning as we weren't on the first floor. The noise levels were quite high at times.
However, the rooms had beautiful full kitchen amenities, a king bed, and a cozy living room, although the distance from reception was a downside.
